Abbey and Jacob were high school sweethearts and robotics team besties who fell in love, stayed committed through college and married each other in the Spring of 2025. Their day was full of important details, each with a special memory and meaning. They wed at St Paul’s Methodist Church where they read vows privately before the ceremony and then did a prayer labyrinth (one of the bride’s favorite faith traditions) after their ceremony. They then invited their guests to Ouisie’s Table where they treated them to dinner and games (who doesn't love games with good friends?!). One of the highlights was the pub trivia where all the guests teamed up to answer trivia questions about the couple, general knowledge, and some special topics that were particularly interesting to the engineering couple.
Abbey fell in love with the special magnolia tree in the courtyard at Ouisie’s Table, so although they did not have open dancing throughout the evening, Abbey did share a special dance with Jacob and the parents there. Their late night activities on the porch consisted of board games scattered throughout the décor and a late night treat of s'mores.
